Yes! There's plenty of water in our tank reservoir now. Two weeks ago, my daughter sent me a
drill-powered water pump to help me solve our water crisis.
NAWASA's water supply continues to be non-existent during the day. You have to wait past midnight to have your water containers get wet...and be filled with water along with some brown particles with it! By the way, water filters that you put at the tip of the faucet are very much in demand in our area too! Pls see attached photo. The tip of the hose has a filter but inspite of that, you can see the brown color of the water that comes out of the hose. The intensity of the "brownish" coloring varies..there are days that these are lighter. I have also tried different brands of filters to test which one last longer so I would not buy too often! We NEVER use NAWASA water for drinking. Ever since, we relied on filtered water for our drinking water. The water at the reservoir is also used for domestic cleaning only.
I just use the drill-powered water pump to transfer the water from the deep well to the overhead tank as it was not designed to suck water from the well up to the tank. It is still a manual effort to pump the water from the deep well but it's okay. There's a few of us at the household that can alternately pump up the water. Better than waiting till morning for NAWASA's water supply to fill our containers! Hooray! Thank you "Clarke" (that's the brand of the drill-powered water pump I have. And, thank you
